Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Chittrovanu Mazumdar was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2006. It achieved a price of USD 48,000.00 (€ 39,541.97), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Other works by Chittrovanu Mazumdar have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 847,500.00 (€ 69,771.69) in May 2008 for the work without title.
