Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Chittrovanu Mazumdar was sold in the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in February 2007. It changed hands for a price of USD 66,000.00 (€ 49,886.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Chittrovanu Mazumdar have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work without title was auctioned for HKD 847,500.00 (€ 69,771.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Chittrovanu Mazumdar wurde im Februar 2007 in der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 66.000,00 (€ 49.886,62) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Chittrovanu Mazumdar konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2008 die Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 847.500,00 (€ 69.771,69) versteigert.
