This work without title by Chittrovanu Mazumdar was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2006. It achieved a price of USD 20,400.00 (€ 16,805.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. Admittedly, works by Chittrovanu Mazumdar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 847,500.00 (€ 69,771.69).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Chittrovanu Mazumdar kam im März 2006 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 20.400,00 (€ 16.805,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chittrovanu Mazumdar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 847.500,00 (€ 69.771,69).
