In the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Odalisque sold for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,507.69) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. This high result makes Odalisque the most expensive artwork by Chintamoni Kar that we have observed at auctions so far.
