A top price for Chi Peng
In September 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Asia, which included the work Mirage by Chi Peng. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,540.37). With this result, Mirage is even the most expensive work of art by Chi Peng that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Chi Peng
Im September 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Asia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mirage von Chi Peng zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 11.540,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Mirage sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Chi Peng, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
