Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Beauty on the Wall by Chi Hong. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,703.40), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by Chi Hong have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 13,004.03) in May 2014 for the work Unknown.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beauty on the Wall von Chi Hong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.703,40) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Chi Hong haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 13.004,03) im Mai 2014 für die Arbeit Unknown beobachtet.
