Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2004 Christies in London held the auction MARITIME AND NAVAL BATTLES (PICTURES), which included the work The Royal Yacht Reviewing The French Fleet Off Cowes During Its Visit In August 1905 by Eduardo Frederico de Martino. The price achieved of GBP 717.00 (€ 1,031.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eduardo Frederico de Martino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Entente Cordiale: The Royal Yacht Victoria & Albert III reviewing the Anglo-French fleet in Cowes Road, 1905 in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 41,778.33).

Im November 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion MARITIME AND NAVAL BATTLES (PICTURES) durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Royal Yacht Reviewing The French Fleet Off Cowes During Its Visit In August 1905 von Eduardo Frederico de Martino zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 717,00 (€ 1.031,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eduardo Frederico de Martino erzielen.
