A top price for Cherith McKinstry
In May 2002 Christies in London held the auction The Irish Sale, which included the work Still Life by Cherith McKinstry. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,572.50 (€ 10,292.62), 31% above the upper estimate. With this result, Still Life is even the most expensive work of art by Cherith McKinstry that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Cherith McKinstry
Im Mai 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Irish Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life von Cherith McKinstry zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.572,50 (€ 10.292,62) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Still Life sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Cherith McKinstry, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
