A top price for Chéri-François-Marguerite Dubreuil - as previously expected
In December 2016 Christies in London held the auction Topographical Pictures, which included the work Rio de Janeiro by Chéri-François-Marguerite Dubreuil. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,614.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Rio de Janeiro is the most expensive artwork by Chéri-François-Marguerite Dubreuil that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Topographical Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rio de Janeiro von Chéri-François-Marguerite Dubreuil zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.614,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Rio de Janeiro das teuerste Kunstwerk von Chéri-François-Marguerite Dubreuil, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
