The work Youth by Cheng Yong was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 400,000.00 (€ 34,761.49), 33% above the upper estimate. Other works by Cheng Yong have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 34,817.19) in October 2010 for the work Summer.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 34.761,49) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Cheng Yong haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 34.817,19) im Oktober 2010 für die Arbeit Summer beobachtet.
