The work Ballet by Cheng Yong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. It achieved a price of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 30,013.62), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Cheng Yong; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Summer sold at auction in October 2010 with the realized price of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 34,817.19).

Die Arbeit Ballet von Cheng Yong kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 30.013,62) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Cheng Yong; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Summer im Oktober 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 34.817,19).
