A top price for Cheng Ming - as previously expected
The work Landscape by Cheng Ming was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November last year. The price achieved of HKD 114,750.00 (€ 14,239.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Cheng Ming that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Landscape von Cheng Ming kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 114.750,00 (€ 14.239,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Landscape das teuerste Kunstwerk von Cheng Ming, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
