Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Scholar By The Shore by Chen Yuandu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,222.56). Admittedly, works by Chen Yuandu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Riding Horses in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 19,801.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scholar By The Shore von Chen Yuandu kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.222,56) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Yuandu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Riding Horses im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 19.801,71).
