Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Chen Shaomei achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November 2020. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscape and Figures sold for HKD 89,250.00 (€ 9,636.13) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Shaomei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portraits Of Great Poets in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 3,160,000.00 (€ 293,900.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chen Shaomei erzielte im November 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscape and Figures für HKD 89.250,00 (€ 9.636,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Shaomei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portraits Of Great Poets im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.160.000,00 (€ 293.900,50).
