Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Perching By The Spring Blossoms by Chen Renqian was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The price achieved of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,721.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chen Renqian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Birds By The Bamboo Grove, which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,308.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Perching By The Spring Blossoms von Chen Renqian kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.721,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Chen Renqian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Birds By The Bamboo Grove beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.308,06) versteigert wurde.
