A top price for Chen Ping - as previously expected
The work Landscape by Chen Ping was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Beijing in June 2015. The price achieved of CNY 354,000.00 (€ 51,192.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 320,000.00 – 420,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Chen Ping that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Landscape von Chen Ping wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Beijing versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 354.000,00 (€ 51.192,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 320.000,00 – 420.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Landscape das teuerste Kunstwerk von Chen Ping, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
