The work Green Scenery by Chen Ping was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 52,500.00 (€ 6,030.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. Admittedly, works by Chen Ping have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in June 2015 with an auction result of CNY 354,000.00 (€ 51,192.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 31 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Green Scenery von Chen Ping kam im Juni 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 52.500,00 (€ 6.030,18) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Ping auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 354.000,00 (€ 51.192,58).
