Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Seven-Character Couplet In Running Script by Chen Lifu was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,514.22), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chen Lifu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Running Script, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 14,400.00 (€ 14,705.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Running Script von Chen Lifu kam im Oktober 2015 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.514,22) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Für andere Arbeiten von Chen Lifu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 14.400,00 (€ 14.705,22) versteigert wurde.
