Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Chen Lifu was sold in the Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 5,100.00 (€ 537.94). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Lifu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 14,400.00 (€ 14,705.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Chen Lifu wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 5.100,00 (€ 537,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Lifu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 14.400,00 (€ 14.705,22).
