Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy by Chen Lifu was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 4,720.00 (€ 545.54), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Lifu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 14,400.00 (€ 14,705.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Chen Lifu kam im Mai 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 4.720,00 (€ 545,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Lifu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 14.400,00 (€ 14.705,22).
