Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet by Chen Lifu was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 5,900.00 (€ 681.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Lifu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 14,400.00 (€ 14,705.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet von Chen Lifu kam im Mai 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 5.900,00 (€ 681,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Lifu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 14.400,00 (€ 14.705,22).
