Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet by Chen Lifu was sold in the Memories of The Past - Important Collection from Mr. Wang Boqun and The Republic Period auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,777.23) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Lifu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 14,400.00 (€ 14,705.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet von Chen Lifu wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Memories of The Past - Important Collection from Mr. Wang Boqun and The Republic Period bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.777,23) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Lifu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 14.400,00 (€ 14.705,22).
