Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Seven-Character Couplet in Seal Script by Chen Li. The price achieved of HKD 23,000.00 (€ 2,139.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Li achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Float to Sukhavati in April 2014 with an auction result of CNY 2,190,000.00 (€ 252,631.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet in Seal Script von Chen Li zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 23.000,00 (€ 2.139,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Li erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Float to Sukhavati im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 2.190.000,00 (€ 252.631,58).
