Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I, which included the work Plateau Sunshine by Chen Li. The price achieved of HKD 472,000.00 (€ 51,949.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Li have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Float to Sukhavati in April 2014 with an auction result of CNY 2,190,000.00 (€ 252,631.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plateau Sunshine von Chen Li zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 472.000,00 (€ 51.949,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Li auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Float to Sukhavati im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 2.190.000,00 (€ 252.631,58).
