Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Editions, which included the work Xiao E. Cap by Chen Ke. The price achieved of HKD 20,160.00 (€ 2,437.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Ke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Outside the Window in March this year with an auction result of HKD 5,080,000.00 (€ 594,816.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Xiao E. Cap von Chen Ke zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 20.160,00 (€ 2.437,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Ke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Outside the Window im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.080.000,00 (€ 594.816,04).
