A top price for Chen Ke
The work Outside the Window by Chen Ke was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in March this year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 5,080,000.00 (€ 594,816.04), 27% above the upper estimate. With this result, Outside the Window is even the most expensive work of art by Chen Ke that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Outside the Window von Chen Ke wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 5.080.000,00 (€ 594.816,04) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Outside the Window sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Chen Ke, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
