Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, which included the work Seven-Character Couplet In Seal Script by Chen Jieqi. The price achieved of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 8,183.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Jieqi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 44,263.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Seal Script von Chen Jieqi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 70.800,00 (€ 8.183,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Jieqi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 44.263,42).
