The work Scenery Of Jiangnan by Chen Erfu was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. The price achieved of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 8,719.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Chen Erfu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2013 the work Pomegranates was auctioned for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 10,675.67).
