A top price for Chen Erfu

In October 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Pomegranates by Chen Erfu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 112,500.00 (€ 10,675.67), 41% above the upper estimate. With this result, Pomegranates is even the most expensive work of art by Chen Erfu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Ein Spitzenpreis für Chen Erfu

Im Oktober 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pomegranates von Chen Erfu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 10.675,67) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Pomegranates sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Chen Erfu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
