Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Red Melody by Chen Erfu was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. The price achieved of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 9,812.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Chen Erfu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2013 the work Pomegranates was auctioned for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 10,675.67).

Die Arbeit Red Melody von Chen Erfu wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 9.812,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Chen Erfu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2013 die Arbeit Pomegranates für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 10.675,67) versteigert.
