The work Rooster by Chen Dayu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,844.37), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Dayu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rooster By Wisteria ; Calligraphy Couplet in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 590,000.00 (€ 60,742.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rooster von Chen Dayu wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.844,37) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Dayu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rooster By Wisteria ; Calligraphy Couplet im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 590.000,00 (€ 60.742,22).
