Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Chen Dayu achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October last year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Plum Blossoms sold for HKD 42,000.00 (€ 5,382.12) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Dayu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rooster By Wisteria ; Calligraphy Couplet in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 590,000.00 (€ 60,742.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chen Dayu erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Plum Blossoms für HKD 42.000,00 (€ 5.382,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Dayu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rooster By Wisteria ; Calligraphy Couplet im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 590.000,00 (€ 60.742,22).
