The work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu by Chen Baochen was worth HKD 200,000.00 (€ 21,912.69) to a buyer in July 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chen Baochen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in April 2019 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 45,531.65).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu von Chen Baochen war einem Käufer im Juli 2020 HKD 200.000,00 (€ 21.912,69) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Chen Baochen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im April 2019 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 45.531,65) versteigert wurde.
