In the Studio Art | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Two Framed Prints: French Hill and The Old Farm sold for USD 280.50 (€ 263.28) - well above the upper estimate of USD 150.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chauncey Foster Ryder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gateway To North Carolina in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 19,200.00 (€ 15,816.79).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chauncey Foster Ryder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gateway To North Carolina im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 19.200,00 (€ 15.816,79).
