Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2011 Christies in Paris held the auction Intérieurs, which included the work Le Cerf-volant by Charles Walch. The price achieved of EUR 1,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Walch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Cravatiere, 1946 in July 2008 with an auction result of EUR 12,392.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2011 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Intérieurs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Cerf-volant von Charles Walch zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Walch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Cravatiere, 1946 im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.392,00.
