In the All That Is Glorious Around Us: Property from an Important American Collector auction, the work Artist Sketching changed hands for USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,802.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles William Wyllie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Backwater in September 2019 with an auction result of GBP 62,562.00 (€ 70,593.80).
