In November 2010 Christies in London held the auction Travel and Vintage Posters, which included the work Royal Mail Line, Mediterranean Cruises by Charles Shepherd. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,643.12), 53% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Shepherd - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Golden Arrow, Pullman, which sold at auction in November 2012 for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,311.64).

Im November 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Travel and Vintage Posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Royal Mail Line, Mediterranean Cruises von Charles Shepherd zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.643,12) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles Shepherd mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Golden Arrow, Pullman beobachtet, die im November 2012 für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.311,64) versteigert wurde.
