Admittedly, works by Charles Schreyvogel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Last Drop 12 in. high in November last year with an auction result of USD 353,175.00 (€ 342,124.38).

Die Arbeit The Last Drop von Charles Schreyvogel kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 97.500,00 (€ 79.957,36) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Schreyvogel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Last Drop 12 in. high im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 353.175,00 (€ 342.124,38).
