Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2024 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century American & Western Art, which included the work The Last Drop by Charles Schreyvogel. The price achieved of USD 50,400.00 (€ 44,048.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Schreyvogel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Last Drop 12 in. high in November last year with an auction result of USD 353,175.00 (€ 342,124.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2024 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century American & Western Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Last Drop von Charles Schreyvogel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.400,00 (€ 44.048,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Schreyvogel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Last Drop 12 in. high im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 353.175,00 (€ 342.124,38).
