However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Ramus Forrest - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Picturesque Tour along the Rivers Ganges and Jumna in India. London: L. Harrison for R. Ackermann, 1824 [text watermarked 1822-1824; plates, 1824.|AID824501], which sold at auction in September 2005 for GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,566.53).
