A top price for Charles R. Knight
In September 2002 Christies in New York held the auction THE HOUSE SALE, which included the work Seated Puma by Charles R. Knight. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,346.00 (€ 3,386.98). With this result, Seated Puma is even the most expensive work of art by Charles R. Knight that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Charles R. Knight
Im September 2002 führte Christies in New York die Auktion THE HOUSE SALE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seated Puma von Charles R. Knight zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.346,00 (€ 3.386,98) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Seated Puma sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Charles R. Knight, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
