In January 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Property from the Estate of Giancarlo Baroni, which included the work An Architectural Capriccio by Charles Michel-Ange Challe. The »bidding war« ended at USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,803.00), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Michel-Ange Challe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venus reclining, which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 39,416.08).

Im Januar 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Property from the Estate of Giancarlo Baroni durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Architectural Capriccio von Charles Michel-Ange Challe zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.803,00) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles Michel-Ange Challe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Venus reclining beobachtet, die im Juli 2014 für GBP 31.250,00 (€ 39.416,08) versteigert wurde.
