This artwork by Charles Malle achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2017. In the Impressionist & Modern Art: Online auction, the work Boulevard Saint-Denis sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,099.89) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Charles Malle; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Bords de Seine à Paris sold at auction in June 2020 with the realized price of EUR 23,750.00.

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Charles Malle; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Bords de Seine à Paris im Juni 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 23.750,00.
