The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,625.00 (€ 14,981.12), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Loupot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Twining, which sold at auction in October 2013 for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 41,369.72).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 14.981,12) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles Loupot mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Twining beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 41.369,72) versteigert wurde.
