Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings including Spanish Painting, The Orientalist Sale, and German, Austrian, Scandinavian and Symbolist Works, which included the work French Reverie by Charles Amable Lenoir. The price achieved of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 40,765.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Amable Lenoir - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French young Girl With Cherries, which sold at auction in May 2017 for USD 150,000.00 (€ 133,499.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings including Spanish Painting, The Orientalist Sale, and German, Austrian, Scandinavian and Symbolist Works durch, in der auch die Arbeit French Reverie von Charles Amable Lenoir zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 40.765,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles Amable Lenoir mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French young Girl With Cherries beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für USD 150.000,00 (€ 133.499,47) versteigert wurde.
