It achieved a price of USD 86,500.00 (€ 66,487.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Amable Lenoir - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French young Girl With Cherries, which sold at auction in May 2017 for USD 150,000.00 (€ 133,499.47).
