Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction European Art, which included the work French The Spinner by Charles Amable Lenoir. The price achieved of USD 37,500.00 (€ 32,133.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Amable Lenoir have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French young Girl With Cherries in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 133,499.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit French The Spinner von Charles Amable Lenoir zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 32.133,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Amable Lenoir auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French young Girl With Cherries im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 133.499,47).
