Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2003 Christies in London held the auction At Home - British and Continental Pictures & Works on Paper, which included the work Reapers harvesting corn; and A peaceful stretch of the river by Charles Henry Passey. The price achieved of GBP 940.00 (€ 1,224.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Henry Passey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Harvesting, which sold at auction in September 2001 for GBP 2,115.00 (€ 3,414.82).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 940,00 (€ 1.224,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden.
