Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2005 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Near Harrogate, Yorkshire; and Harvesting by Charles Henry Passey. The price achieved of GBP 576.00 (€ 849.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Henry Passey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Harvesting in September 2001 with an auction result of GBP 2,115.00 (€ 3,414.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Near Harrogate, Yorkshire; and Harvesting von Charles Henry Passey zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 576,00 (€ 849,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Charles Henry Passey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Harvesting im September 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.115,00 (€ 3.414,82).
