Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A lane, Dorking, Surrey; and A cornfield, near Guildford, Surrey by Charles Henry Passey was auctioned at Christies in London in August 2010. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 750.00 (€ 906.68). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Charles Henry Passey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Harvesting, which sold at auction in September 2001 for GBP 2,115.00 (€ 3,414.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A lane, Dorking, Surrey; and A cornfield, near Guildford, Surrey von Charles Henry Passey kam im August 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 750,00 (€ 906,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Charles Henry Passey mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Harvesting beobachtet, die im September 2001 für GBP 2.115,00 (€ 3.414,82) versteigert wurde.
